Socialism, clearing the air!

Hear alot of talk about President Obama is a socialist. Well here is the America Heritage Dictionary,

socialism definition

An economic system in which the production and distribution ofgoods are controlled substantially by the government rather thanby private enterprise, and in which cooperation rather thancompetition guides economic activity. There are many varietiesof socialism. Some socialists tolerate capitalism, as long as thegovernment maintains the dominant influence over the economy;others insist on an abolition of private enterprise. Allcommunists are socialists, but not all socialists are communists
